Motivation...Come get ya some!

I've been drinking the exercise endorphin kool-aid this week and am still on a runner's high! I thought I'd share with you my motivation for this crazy fitness journey in hopes to brighten up your rainy Friday (at least in the Midwest)

I'm an overall "glass is half full" kinda gal and can't really even handle caffeine more than once a week but I find when I'm eating clean and consistently exercising, that positive energy just keeps flowing.

My numbaone (get it? My Instagram is @numbaonerunner) motivator is
Gisele Noel. She is a self-proclaimed "Positive Patty" who has daily motivators at the end of her posts and even a link where you can click through if you just need a fitness pick me up. I can't believe I can admire someone so much that I've never even met,. I know the fact that she's a self proclaimed former fatty gives her a lot more street cred in my book than even Bob the trainer from The Biggest Loser

Next would definitely be my sistas! Both KaraG and my other sis Kelsey. KaraG started all this off by a weightless Wednesday before her wedding. It was great to celebrate our losses and joke about our gains and now we've got this crazy blog! I would never be on IG if it wasn't for her and have met half of you fun fitness gals. KaraG is such a hardworking fitness fanatic--I'm inspired by her dedication! Our other sister, Kelsey, is a "tell it like it is" kinda girl--she didn't care if people said she was fat when she was pregnant b/c she said she was! She lives out of town so when I see her every couple of months she can really notice a change in Kara and I. Since she tells it like it is, you know she means it when she says we look gooood!

love these sistas!
My Zumba class has an online Facebook group that is really motivating. The members like to post daily motivators similar to Gisele's and they give shout outs to other members when they're rocking it in class or looking good. Just yesterday they bombarded my FB wall with uplifting comments about how I was making that fat cry during class. It really rocked my socks off. We also like to commiserate about feeling sore the day after :)
Finally, all of you blogging ladies and followers! I seriously consider what I'm eating or about to take a picture of and think "Would the bloggers approve of me eating this?". Well, everyday except for Faturday. Thank you for all of your comments, likes on IG and even just reading the blog entries. It makes me aim for my goal and strive to be the healthiest I can be before 33 (okay, I'm only 30 now but I had to make that rhyme)

So, keep it up, work hard and let me know if you need some motivation, I would be happy to send you a Motivating text or positive push!

Happy Weekend!
KristieP
