Operation Red Bikini: BEFORE PICS!!

What's up y'all? Kara and I just got back from a kick ass family fun weekend in Kentucky where it was sunny, warm and filled with laughter. We headed out on Friday to our family's lake house on Lake Cumberland in southern Kentucky which was the perfect setting for our before pictures. We snuck off down a 100 foot drop off cliff to the edge of the lake to strip down in our 'kinis and have our other sis snap some pics. Keep in mind it was 45 degrees and windy---the things we do for our blog readers :)

Our half Marathon is May 4th so it coincides perfectly with the end of May goals for #operationredbikini started by our girls Elle Noel and Kassie.  Our ORB goals are to be toned and looking good (and not as pasty) in our blue bikinis. My personal goal is to get to 125 pounds (only 14 more el bees to go!) Without further ado...

I could quite possibly be 20 pounds away from my goal weight after our fun filled weekend of Irish car bombs, moonshine shots every time a "Harbaugh" team scored during the football games and massive amounts of snacking. We did get a 5 mile run in on Saturday which was a PR for Kara G in the furthest she's ever run! We were kind of being chased by cows running through the country roads but it was awesome running together and jamming to Pandora.

After 987 tries, here is the final product. There were lots of M&Ms and bribes/threats being shouted to get the 5 grandkids (and the guys for that matter) to smile

It was a great weekend to have all four siblings in town in the same house so there was no escape were lots of good times. The weather and the views were beautiful! Can't wait to do it again over Memorial day weekend with a much tanner and toned bikini picture!
