My Happy Place

Hey folks, Kristie P a lil late today! I feel like I'm finally at my happy place in this whole weight loss/fitness rollercoaster. A lot of people have been posting about how they've stopped weighing themselves and focusing on results at the gym. I feel like I'm right there along with them...minus the gym membership but that'll come in May hopefully for my birfday! I'm still game for #operationredbikini and getting to my goal weight by the end of May but these puppies, a size 8 were falling off me today
That's a long way from a size 14 in this photo

I'll be high tailing it up to American Eagle to downsize to a size 6 next week! To me, that is the greatest NSV I could have ever had! I can barely remember the last time I comfortably wore a size 6, most likely when I was 16 and coincidentally at my lowest weight ever. I'm noticing changes in my arms, back and legs after keeping up with the RI30 strength and ab moves. I'm also staying within my daily calorie count of 1400 calories to lose a pound a week which usually is 1/2 a pound a week with my weekend shenanigans.
Basically I'm on the game plan of this picture: RUN TO EAT! or exercise to eat. That's a burrito bowl with no rice from Hot Head Burritos for around 450 calories. I've been making healthy choices that comes naturally now and exercising to work off my food. It's a great feeling to be on top of my game and looking forward to exercise everyday. The key is planning ahead. Every Monday I take my planner out and plan workouts and meals. This helps me brainstorm healthy choices and coordinate my heavy carb days with long runs or Zumba nights.
I also look forward to watching SNL episodes the week after while pounding it out on the Elliptical. I like variety but do well with somewhat of a routine each week.

How's that for some Gisele Noel Positive Patty? It's where I am right now and hopefully you can all find your happy place no matter what part of your journey you are on. It's a Wonderful Life :)

  2. That's awesome to feel like you are in your happy place!! I'm close, but also a Taco Bell binge away, so I cant really say "I'm there" without actually doing said binge, and it not really affecting my weight (or me learning its ok every now and then, and to not shove the whole fridge in my mouth after i make 1 mistake). So hopefully I can join you soon :)
