Hey y'all! Kristie P here ready to share my RI30 by JM results! I am extremely happy with the pictures, and can really tell a difference in my toning. I think I was able to do this for 30 days in a row because it's new moves and has 4 different levels so I knew every week I would get to switch the routine up.
Each level is progressively harder and has
- 3 minutes strength training
- 2 minutes cardio
- 1 minute abs
I kept my usual exercise routines the same and added the DVD afterwards or just did the strength and ab moves on the days with lots of cardio in my schedule. I had to get creative sometimes as we have 2 tvs with 6 people--Monday nights I would put the DVD on my computer and work it out while watching the Biggest Loser with my husband. I would also do the DVD in the other room while my girls watched Dora (which I CAN'T STAND) in our fireplace room. Since it was only 25 minutes with the cool down, they didn't miss me (and I got out of hearing Dora whine at my kids).
I started on February 4th and ended on March 4th for a grand total of 4 lbs lost
Here's my biceps which I noticed the most change in 1 short month!
I also like the change in my stomach that needs to be in tip top shape for Operation Red bikini!
I'll be loaning this puppy to KaraG but today I'm going through the levels and writing down the strength and ab moves I like to incorporate in my daily workouts.
My goal through this whole journey has been to do this without a gym membership, any pills or other diet plans---just good 'ole fashioned hard work and dedication to prove that anyone can do it at home---no equipment needed! (Well, I highly encourage everyone to invest in a $10 JM DVD because you always need an excuse to go to Target and it's a great backup plan when you're tired of the same old thing at home).

ReplyDeleteI need to stick with JM this month... I started RI30 and didnt finish, I need to do 30DS and then do RI30 again!! I LOVE YOUR RESULTS! Thats awesome!!!

ReplyDeleteOMG your arms and stomach look great! I'm so impressed by the improvements one short month made! Crap, maybe I need to dust of my 30DS DVD. I just feel like with a gym membership I shouldn't be turning to a DVD, but I want those results, too!

ReplyDeleteThat is awesome girlie!!! I still have 2 days left and probably won't even do them until this weekend! It's been quick a ...... ahem ....... week, with my hubby being gone. But I LOVE this DVD. I also am trying to get by w/out a gym membership, and I love these videos for that. They are short but to the point!
ReplyDeleteI think I'm going to commit to 4-5 days per week doing 30DS & RI30 for the next couple of months. I haven't decided my plan on action completely, but it'll definitely be between those videos!
