Hey ladays! Kristie P. here with a super fun, super sweaty workout that I randomly did on Saturday and burnt almost 500 calories in an hour! Total disclosure here, I'm up 10 lbs from my super svelt pre-half marathon goal weight and although I'd like to say most of that is muscle, I'm going to aim to lose 5-7 pounds of that so my muscles can show through more!
Skinny Meg. A couple of notes on the chaos that is my impromptu workout.
*Forward and back continuous kicks are taken from a kickboxing class I took. Turn up a fast paced song (I like Fire Burning by Sean Kingston) and kick with one leg forward then the other leg back for 30 seconds, switch front leg and repeat.
*Run for 1 mile or a certain calorie burn on the treadmill, I like to see how fast I can get 1 mile done or aim for 100 calories, whichever comes first
*I sprint outside my gym in the parking lot towards a fire hydrant. Sprint there and lightly jog back for 10 times total
My fav summer snacks include: almonds mixed with raisins, string cheese and triscuits, tomato and cottage cheese and bananas with peanut butter.
